Police: 2 face capital murder charge following Thanksgiving gunfight in Fort Worth

Fort Worth police say a young adult and a teenager are facing capital murder charges following a fatal shooting during an attempted robbery on Thanksgiving. Paige Wheaton, 20, and Tai Sanders, 17, are in custody at the Tarrant County Corrections Center, police said Friday. Jail records show they were arrested Dec. 17 and Dec. 20 respectively. The Dallas Morning News has reached out to the offices of their lawyers for comment but did not immediately hear back.
