SWLA, La. (KPLC) - Students in Southwest Louisiana carried on the tradition of honoring our veterans today. Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School held a ceremony that included singing all of the branches’ service songs and the Star Spangled Banner. Students also handed out poppies and put on a light show. “In a divided world, we can all agree that those who risk their lives for our freedom deserve respect and love and gratitude,” said Emily Lognion, who works at EDS and believes it’s important to teach kids about Veterans Day....
