Police plan to cite a driver involved in a car crash in which a vehicle hit the side of a McDonald’s restaurant in Springfield Saturday night, a spokesperson for the department said Monday morning.
Officers responded to the crash at the McDonald’s on Boston Road around 9:45 p.m., police said. The crash happened when a man driving eastbound on the road “at a high rate of speed” without his vehicle’s lights on clipped another vehicle that was pulling out of a parking lot.
