Duluth-area man sentenced for sexually abusing 2 minors

DULUTH — A man who came forward to admit to sexually abusing two children will avoid prison if he complies with 10 years of supervised probation. Patrick Neil Bruckelmyer, 41, of Lakewood Township, was sentenced last week after pleading guilty in May to two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Judge Theresa Neo accepted a plea agreement between Bruckelmyer and the St. Louis County Attorney’s Office, under which he was granted a departure from state sentencing guidelines.
