Gleaners to build new emergency food assistance facility in Warren

Gleaners Community Food Bank will construct a market-style food assistance outlet in south Warren, the first-ever new location by the faith-based nonprofit. Titled Fresh! by Gleaners, the 5,250-square-foot building will be located what is now a vacant parcel of land on Eight Mile Road, east of Ryan Road. Construction on the $4.8 million project is expected to begin this summer with an opening date scheduled for early 2025.
