Expired and moldy food among latest metro Phoenix restaurant inspection violations

Maricopa County health inspectors cited three restaurants for 17 health violations during the week April 19. The violations ranged from moldy hot dog buns to a bartender cutting lemons with bare hands. A priority violation is a major violation that directly contributes to an increased risk of foodborne illness or injury. If listed in inspection reports, remedies implemented during the inspection are noted.
