Colorado Springs residents who woke up to near-freezing temperatures on Wednesday can look forward to sunny skies and warmer conditions later in the day, according to Gazette News partner KOAA. “A freeze warning and a frost advisory will remain in effect until 8 a.m. for El Paso County, with these freeze alerts also in effect for the Denver metro area and parts of northern Colorado,” Meteorologist Alan Rose said.
