PULLMAN — Washington State has landed its first transfer from somewhere other than Eastern Washington this off-season. Quinnipiac transfer Rihard Vavers announced his commitment to WSU on Tuesday, giving the Cougars a 6-foot-7 wing who averaged 8 points and 3 rebounds per game as a freshman last season.
