Exxon Mobil Corp. stock rises Tuesday, still underperforms market

Shares of Exxon Mobil Corp. XOM inched 0.23% higher to $102.14 Tuesday, on what proved to be an all-around great trading session for the stock market, with the S&P 500 Index SPX rising 0.42% to 4,774.75 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA rising 0.43% to 37,545.33.

This was the stock's third consecutive day of gains.
