Man killed, IMPD officer injured in Indianapolis’ 14th police shooting this year

A man is dead and an Indianapolis police officer is injured following a shooting on the city’s east side Thursday night. The incident marks the third IMPD shooting since Oct. 19, the 10th since the beginning of August, and the 14th since the start of the year.
