Fire destroys historic Lake Church Inn in Belgium on Tuesday evening

Firefighters were dispatched to the historic Lake Church Inn Tavern and Grill in the town of Belgium on Tuesday evening as a fire demolished the structure. Deputies responded at approximately 5:37 p.m. to the historic building on County Road D to find black smoke showing from the exterior, according to an Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office news release.
