Dearborn Heights Police said officers tried stopping a stolen vehicle on eastbound Michigan Avenue and Outer Drive. The driver in the stolen vehicle sped away from officers and turned north onto Oakwood Boulevard, smashing into two other vehicles, police said. The people in those vehicles sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash, officials said.
