An Amtrak train carrying 66 passengers collided with a tractor-trailer in Sharon on Monday, according to Vermont State Police. No injuries were reported in the collision on Quarry Road, near Route 14, police said in a press release. The train struck the vehicleβs flatbed trailer, which was carrying a load of stone from a nearby quarry, at about 11:45 a.m., police said. Authorities from the Vermont State Police and Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles Enforcement and Safety Division were on the scene, police said. No further details were immediately available....
