Reid Tangles With GOP on Filibuster Changes

Mr. Reid tangled with Republicans for more than an hour Thursday morning, engaging Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) in a heated back-and-forth over his plans to bar the use of filibusters to stop certain confirmation votes, a change referred to as “the nuclear option” by lawmakers.
