NORTH OGDEN — A vehicle fire sparked a wildfire in North Ogden Wednesday afternoon that quickly spread to 5 acres.
Dubbed the Willard Peak Fire, the blaze started from a vehicle fire and is threatening about 15 to 20 structures, according to Utah Fire Info. The fire is burning uphill and multiple ground crews and aircraft are responding.
"Vehicle fires can spark wildfires fast — maintain your ride and never park on dry grass," Utah Fire Info said.
