North Korean Missile Launch Fails

North Korea, in an apparent show of defiance against U.S. President Donald Trump, tried to test a missile early Sunday, but U.S. officials said the attempt failed as the projectile exploded almost immediately upon being launched.

North Korea launched a ballistic missile Sunday morning from near its submarine base in Sinpo on its east coast, but the launch was the latest in a series of failures just after liftoff, according to American and South Korean military officials.
