Perspectives: The 2020 Democratic National Convention Begins

The Democratic National Convention will be held this week from Monday to Thursday, culminating in Joe Biden’s expected acceptance of the party’s nomination from his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware. The convention will be mostly virtual, with delegates and major speakers staying away from the central location in Milwaukee, WI. Prominent speakers range from moderate to progressive and include a few Republicans, such as former Ohio Gov. John Kasich.
