Fetterman Checks Himself Into Hospital for Clinical Depression

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) checked himself into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Wednesday night “to receive treatment for clinical depression,” a spokesperson said.

He was released two days later, and his office said doctors had ruled out the possibility of another stroke. Fetterman’s stroke in May 2022 led to questions about his mental fitness during his Senate race against Republican Mehmet Oz.
