Democrats hope that their likley nominee for the U.S. Senate, John Fetterman, will mend from a recent stroke and go on to beat any of the Republicans candidates in November, who they believe have demonstrable flaws.
Primaries are also being held today in Kentucky, Idaho, Oregon, and North Carolina, where Trump-backed Senate candidate Representative Ted Budd is likely to win the primary.
