Karen Bass team demands 'full force of law' over bogus poll

A fake poll claiming Karen Bass had opened up a double-digit lead over Nithya Raman has been slammed by the mayor's office, who demanded the authors face the "full force of the law."

The bogus poll was circulated on Thursday by a company calling itself 'Median Strategies" and reported on by news outlets including The California Post and Fox 11, who interviewed political strategist Dave Meraz about its supposed implications.

A number of prominent poll tracking social media profiles also posted the poll.
