Senator John Fetterman (D., Pa.) is prepared to leave the Democratic Party if the left wing of the Democratic coalition is successful in pushing the party to abandon its historical support for Israel.
Fetterman, who has become increasingly alienated from his party since taking office, explained in a Tuesday discussion at the Israel on Campus Coalition's (ICC) 2026 National Leadership Summit that he could no longer call himself a Democrat if the party moves to cut off U.S. aid to Israel.
