The Ohio Supreme Court has refused to take up Mackenzie Shirilla's latest appeal, leaving her conviction and prison sentence in place.
Shirilla, now 21, is serving 15 years to life in prison after being convicted in 2023 of murder in a crash that killed Dominic Russo and Davion Flanagan. Prosecutors said she deliberately sped up to about 100 mph during an early-morning drive in 2022 before crashing into a brick wall.
