Many of America's most common jobs pay well below the U.S. average, new federal data shows.
Eight of the nation's 10 largest occupations by employment have below-average wages, ranging from $32,150 for fast food workers to $46,590 for customer service representatives, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates for more than 800 jobs.
Those figures are significantly lower than the $69,770 annual average across all occupations...
