One person is reportedly dead after a shooter opened fire at the Augusta Mall in Georgia, the Richmond County Sheriff's Office (RCSO) confirmed on Tuesday afternoon.
The department said that it has two people in custody, according to Atlanta news station 11Alive.
In an update on Facebook, the RCSO said deputies were searching the mall one store at a time for any other possible injured shoppers or staff.
Brookfield Properties, which runs the mall, told Newsweek that the incident was isolated to a group of people. The mall would be closed for the rest of the day, a spokesperson said...
