At least nine people are believed to have been killed in a school shooting in the southern Austrian city of Graz.

Police have so far confirmed that several people were shot dead at the secondary school in Dreierschützengasse, including the suspect.

The city’s mayor, Elke Kahr, reported that nine had been killed in what she called a “terrible tragedy”, revising an earlier reported death toll of ten.
