The Kremlin on Monday warned the use of U.S. long-range weapons by Ukraine to strike Russian territory will be seen as a dangerous escalation in the ongoing conflict, in response to reports President Joe Biden has authorized such a move following the deployment of North Korean troops in support of Moscow’s invasion.

When asked about the reports, the Kremlin’s top spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said if the Biden administration has conveyed such a decision to Kyiv, Moscow would view it as a “new round of escalation of tensions.”
