Former UW women’s basketball standout Regina Rogers-Wright dies

Regina Rogers-Wright, who led Chief Sealth High School to back-to-back state championships in Class 3A girls basketball (2005 and 2006) before playing three years for the Washington Huskies, has died, according to a source familiar with the situation. She was born on Nov. 8, 1988. The date and cause of her death were not known. Rogers-Wright, a twin with brother Reginald, was the daughter of Reggie and Sheila Rogers. Reggie Rogers played basketball and football at Washington. He was a first-round NFL draft pick of the Detroit Lions in 1987....
