Who is Laura Loomer? Republicans fear activist’s influence growing on Trump

Laura Loomer, a self-labeled “investigative journalist,” has been repeatedly sighted around former President Donald Trump in recent days.

Loomer was seen deboarding his plane on the day of the presidential debate, and she was spotted around him throughout Wednesday as Trump joined with others on the 9/11 day of remembrance. Some Republicans are concerned.

Loomer called the late-Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee a “ghetto b****,” shared a post last year that said 9/11 was an “inside job,” and just this week claimed that if Vice President Kamala Harris wins in November, the White House “will smell like curry.”
