L Catterton Is Said to Buy Controlling Stake in Latvia’s Stenders

Private equity firm L Catterton has acquired a controlling stake in Latvian personal care and cosmetics producer Stenders, according to people familiar with the situation.

Founded in 2001, Stenders now sells goods that are made in Latvia in more than 300 shops worldwide, including in several European countries, Australia, China, Japan, Middle East, the US and Suriname, its website shows.
