SAN ANTONIO β The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration have issued an emergency warning after a cluster of 22 people in 11 states reported adverse effects from counterfeit or mishandled botulin toxin injections. The states impacted include Texas, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, and Washington.
