Trump says he’ll now give Mexico a year before shutting down the border

“If the drugs don’t stop or largely stop, we’re going to put tariffs on Mexico and products… and if that doesn’t stop the drugs, we close the border,” President Trump said on Thursday, backtracking on previous threats to shut down the Southern border if Mexico didn’t stop illegal immigration.
