White House unmoved by Netanyahu’s new comments on Palestinian state

The White House wasn’t buying Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s comments Thursday that he still supports a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

“He walked back from commitments that Israel had previously made,” said White House press secretary Josh Earnest, referring to Mr. Netanyahu’s remarks just prior to his re-election Tuesday. “It is cause for the United States to evaluate what our path is forward.”
