Rising Pace of Hiring Adds to Optimism, but Wages Lag

The outlook for the economy became sunnier on Friday after the Labor Department reported that employers added 295,000 workers in February, far exceeding expectations, and also recorded a drop in the unemployment rate. The data, though, offered disappointing results for wage growth, which for months has barely budged.
