Sen. Chuck Schumer: $10.10 is non-negotiable

Sen. Chuck Schumer, New York Democrat, predicted Monday that lawmakers will compromise to get a deal on minimum wage in the next six months, but that Democrats weren’t willing to back down on raising it to $10.10.

“There will be some kind of compromise. There are lots of different areas of compromise and it’ll happen, but 10.10 is a pretty strong feeling for us on our side,” Mr. Schumer said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

He said tha
