Trump says $5K dividend checks to Americans will 'happen 100 percent'

President Trump on Sunday said $5,000 dividend checks will "happen 100 percent" if the GOP maintains its majority in Congress after the midterm elections.

The president compared the potential payouts to the $1,776 checks that went out to U.S. service members, telling reporters outside Air Force One on Sunday that he's received the same type of pushback.
