T-Mobile has become the latest company to discontinue its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, reportedly due to increasing political pressure from the Trump administration. The telecommunications giant has eliminated DEI-specific teams and roles, removed DEI language from its website and training materials, and shifted to offering training and development opportunities to all employees.

This move comes as FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr has made it clear he will block deals involving companies that promote DEI agendas. In May, Verizon agreed to drop its DEI initiatives to secure approval for a $20 billion deal to acquire Frontier Communications.
