He argued “this global wave of mass violence” likely cannot be stopped, but the West should invest in “accountability and punishment” to deter “perpetrators.”
Don’t Forget Ukraine: Ivan Krastev of Financial Times (Center bias) said the Israel-Hamas conflict has shifted attention away from Ukraine and “created competition for resources.” Krastev said both conflicts threaten the security and “political identity” of European societies and urged the West to continue to arm Ukraine, so investors can feel safe investing in it, and Ukraine can join the European Union.
