Biden Asks Supreme Court to Cancel Border Wall, Asylum Arguments

On Monday, the Biden administration asked the Supreme Court to postpone upcoming oral arguments and delay further action in two appeals regarding the Mexico-United States border wall funding and the "remain in Mexico" asylum policy, both filed by former President Donald Trump. The administration previously announced plans to discontinue construction of the border wall and suspend the asylum program. The court was set to hear arguments in the two cases on Feb. 22 and March 1.
