Summary from the AllSides News Team
Voters head to the polls Tuesday to decide 2022 primaries and special elections in Florida and New York.
In Florida, Charlie Crist - a Democrat who was a former Republican governor there - is running against state Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried in a Democratic gubernatorial primary that currently has no clear leader. The winner will face Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis this fall, in a state where registered Republicans outnumber registered Democrats for the first time in Florida's history.
In New York, Democrat Pat Ryan and Republican Marc Molinaro are squaring off in a tight race in New York's 19th Congressional District, a seat that was vacated in May by incoming state Lt. Gov. Antonio Delgado. Democrats there are hoping that the overturning of Roe v. Wade will anger enough disenchanted voters to make a difference, while Republicans are banking on a backlash to high inflation.
Sources across the political spectrum are covering the races with an eye on what the results might predict for the general election in November.

The big question on Florida Democrats’ minds: Can they beat Gov. Ron DeSantis (R)?
The party’s voters on Tuesday are set to choose between Rep.
