Interior Dept.: Reflecting Pool Fix Working Despite Algae Return

Green algae have reappeared in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool just days after the Trump administration completed a more than $13 million renovation project, according to photographs cited Monday by The Hill.
The Interior Department, however, said the algae visible in the pool are already dead and are being removed as part of the startup process for the newly installed water treatment system.
