Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced on Saturday a new $1 billion investment in TSA security checkpoints at airports across the United States.
Speaking from inside Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Noem said the money will go toward "new technology and advancements in security systems," touting it as the largest investment in airport screening technology in over a decade.
