Zohran Mamdani spews word-salad excuse after Barack Obama endorsement snub just one day before election

Democratic nominee and proud socialist Zohran Mamdani tried to downplay former President Barack Obama’s refusal to offer up an endorsement over the weekend — with just one day left in one of the most-watched races in the country.

“I appreciated the call with President Obama and his support for the movement that we have created,” Mamdani told reporters in City Hall Park early Monday.

“I appreciated his words. I appreciated his time, and I appreciate this movement for putting us on the brink of delivering us a new city in this place,” the Queens lawmaker continued in a convoluted explanation.
