Dominion Voting Systems, the voting technology company that was at the center of controversy and false stolen-election claims after President Trump’s 2020 loss, has been sold and will be renamed as Liberty Vote, its new ownership announced on Thursday.
Dominion was sold to Scott Leiendecker, a former Republican director of elections for the city of St. Louis, Mo., who went on to found KNOWiNK — the largest provider of electronic poll books across the United States — and has testified before Congress about voting systems.
