Doctor still fighting for his life after Israeli strike killed nine of his 10 children - as heartbreaking snap shows wife at his bedside

A doctor whose nine children were killed in an Israeli air strike in Gaza remains in a critical condition. 

Hamdi al-Najjar was injured by the strike on Friday and sustained significant injuries to his brain, lungs, right arm and kidney.

The attack in the southern city of Khan Yunis has left him critical, Dr Milena Angelova-Chee told the BBC.
