The Department of Health and Human Services, under the direction of Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., plans to require all new vaccines to be tested in placebo-controlled trials before they are licensed for public use.
“Under Secretary Kennedy’s leadership, all new vaccines will undergo safety testing in placebo-controlled trials prior to licensure — a radical departure from past practices,” an HHS spokesperson told The Washington Post in a statement.
