Bismarck softball team eyes first championship in Women’s C-D division tournament

The Bismarck Moritz softball team is competing in its second year in the top competitive women’s division at the Sam McQuade’s Tournament. Pool play for the division began on Friday evening with three games, one of which featured Bismarck Moritz face off against Aurora (Colo.) Toxic. The high-scoring affair included home runs from both teams. Bismarck secured the 22-19 win after a late-game scoring rally.
