Coastal hurricanes in the U.S. will become "more destructive" due to climate change, according to a new study. A new study led by researchers at the Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Washington found that hurricanes worldwide have been becoming more severe at a "quickening pace" since 1979.
