Vicious cycle: Biden aides sound the alarm on president's lack of awareness about age problem
Aides surrounding President Joe Biden are growing concerned about his age as he continues to run with a heavy campaign schedule on top of his presidential duties.
The problem of Biden’s age surfaced during his 2020 campaign, but he was successfully elected to the White House at 77 years old.
This time around, current and former Biden aides are saying the president might not have a grasp on the widespread voter concern surrounding his age and the strain of a massive workload, according to a Tuesday report from Axios.
“He is his own worst enemy when it comes to his schedule," a former Biden aide said.
First lady Jill Biden is reportedly involved in the president’s schedule and diet, pushing him to eat healthier.
Jill and Joe Biden keep “an eye on one another's schedules for the sake of balance — and they are far from the only couple in the administration who does that,” a White House official said.
