Cases of COVID-19, the flu and RSV are all ticking up throughout the United States, according to most recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

COVID hospitalizations and deaths have risen for the second week in a row, following several weeks of declining numbers. During the week ending on November 18, hospitalizations owed to the respiratory virus increased by around 10%, while deaths once again increased by just over 8%.

Driving the COVID case counts is the HV.1 variant, which experts have suggested might spread more easily, though it does not appear to trigger more serious infections than previous strains.
