Hundreds of Lebanese demonstrators waving Palestinian and Hamas flags surrounded the U.S. embassy in Beirut Tuesday night after Hamas falsely accused Israel of hitting a Gaza hospital in an airstrike. The protesters gathered at the U.S. embassy hours before President Joe Biden was scheduled to arrive in neighboring Israel to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a show of solidarity with Israel as it responds to the devastating Hams terrorist attack on October 7.
